Heather Polinsky, PMP, F. SAME has been nominated as the next CEO of Arcadis, effective March 1, 2026. A 26-year veteran of the company, Polinsky is recognized for her proven track record of driving growth and leading high-performing teams across Arcadis’ water, energy, environment, resilience, and mobility businesses.

Gordon Wadley has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Dream Industrial REIT, effective January 1, 2026. Wadley previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Dream Office REIT since joining the organization in 2011.

Colin Olfert has been promoted to President & CEO at Westridge Construction, adding the President role to his existing CEO position held since 2022. Leon Friesen has retired as President but will remain involved as a Director on the Board.

Tom MacLeod has been appointed President at Marmon Crane Services, Inc.

Sanjeev Dhillon has been promoted to Vice President, Industry Engagement and Innovation at ICBA (Independent Contractors and Businesses Association). In this expanded role, he will lead ICBA’s efforts to inspire greater engagement across the construction community and deepen the organization’s focus on innovation, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies.

Craig Shirra is moving from UBCPT to Traine Construction & Development as Director of Development, effective December 8, 2025.

Val Vanderwyk has been appointed to the Board of Directors at Canadian Apprenticeship Forum (CAF-FCA), a national non-profit dedicated to driving apprenticeship excellence across Canada.

Brandon Deeves has joined Emil Anderson Construction as Manager of Strategic Partnerships.

Marcus Gillam has been appointed to the board of directors of Urban Infrastructure Group Inc. (TSXV: UIG). Gillam is the CEO of Gillam Group Inc., a construction company, and brings over 30 years of project management experience in complex construction projects across Ontario and internationally.

Joel Melanson has been appointed Director of Engineering, Design and Construction for Water Services at Metro Vancouver.

Anthony Costa has been appointed Senior Manager, Renewables & Electrification, Western Canada at CIMA+. Based in Kelowna, BC, Anthony brings over 20 years of experience in the energy and utilities sector, including leadership roles at Primary Engineering and Construction Corporation and BC Hydro.

Xavier Carballo has started a new position as Project Manager, Delivery, Scarborough Subway Extension at Metrolinx.

Matt McCleary, PMP has joined PCL Construction as Director of U.S. Public-Private Partnerships. With nearly 25 years of experience in real estate development and infrastructure delivery, McCleary brings expertise in P3s, alternative financing, and strategic execution.

Kelsey Jenkins is joining ACCIONA and Trillium Rail Partners as Communications and Community Engagement Lead for the ECWE-SRS project.

Lisa DeSandoli has joined McElhanney as Division Manager, Environment, where she will support the Lower Mainland with ecological services, including assessment and permitting.

Ben Voss has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Mazergroup, effective January 5th, 2026. Voss brings more than 25 years of executive experience across agriculture, manufacturing, technology, and large-scale project leadership.

Allnorth Americas is celebrating some Q3 service milestones: Craig Ward (25 years), Steve Pereira, Darcy Netzel, Kevin Barton, Mike French, and Leydi Noble (20 years), Greysen Aby, Gavin Fitzgerald, Carla Leask, and Olof Hultkrans (15 years), Soleil Poncelet, Scott Neurauter, and Matthew MacDonald (10 years), and four team members recognized for 5 years of service.

John McNicoll has joined the Independent Contractors and Businesses Association (ICBA) as Head of Industry Engagement for Edmonton and Northern Alberta.
