The Whole Story:
Canadian engineering and environmental services firm Englobe has entered into an agreement to acquire C.F. Crozier & Associates Inc. (Crozier), an Ontario-based consulting engineering firm specializing in land development, transportation, and civil infrastructure.
The acquisition integrates Crozier’s team of 200 professionals across five regional offices in Toronto, Collingwood, Burlington, Bradford, and Guelph into Englobe’s national network. Founded in 2004, Crozier has delivered engineering services for more than 10,000 residential, commercial, and industrial land development projects throughout Southern Ontario.
The deal strengthens Englobe’s private-sector land development and transportation engineering capabilities in Ontario at a time of accelerating investment in national housing and municipal infrastructure projects. Following the transaction, Crozier will maintain its current project teams while leveraging Englobe’s broader environmental and engineering platform.
“Increasingly, clients are looking for multidisciplinary teams that can provide coordinated support across multiple stages of the project lifecycle,” said Mike Cormier, President of Englobe. “By combining Crozier’s strong land development expertise and reputation as a trusted advisor to private-sector clients with Englobe’s broader engineering and environmental services, national footprint, and public-sector experience, we are better positioned to help clients navigate an increasingly complex and evolving landscape.”
Chris Crozier, Founder and CEO of Crozier, noted that joining the Englobe platform provides new growth channels for the firm’s team after more than two decades of independent operation. Crozier President Nick Mocan added that the partnership aligns both firms to meet rising national demand for housing construction, community development, and transportation improvements.
