CCA reveals National Awards
The national awards shine a spotlight on the industry’s best and brightest — from safety on job sites to leadership on and off the job.

The Canadian Construction Association (CCA) presented its 2026 National Awards on March 13 during the CCA Annual Conference, recognizing 11 recipients for contributions to the construction industry.
The awards span leadership, safety, innovation, environmental stewardship and community engagement across the sector.
“This year’s award recipients demonstrate the best of the best of our industry. Congratulations to everyone for the recognition of their great achievements,” said Rodrigue Gilbert, president of CCA.
The recipients include Geoff Smith, who received the Pinnacle Leader Award; PCL Construction, which won both the Environmental Achievement Award and the Excellence in Innovation Award (first winner); and Orion Construction, recognized with the Workforce Excellence Award.
Simpson Building Contractors Ltd. received the Gold Seal Award, while Sarah O’Malley was named Young Leader Award recipient. The Vancouver Regional Construction Association won the Partner Association Award.
Two recipients shared the Community Leader Award: Marco Group (first winner) and Lyndsey Shaw and Rebecca Gelech (second winner). JCB Construction Canada received the Excellence in Innovation Award (second winner), and Peter Kiewit Sons ULP was recognized with the National Safety Award.
