ATCO Structures and Marten Falls First Nation have entered into a joint venture partnership to pursue and execute workforce accommodation and modular infrastructure opportunities within the Northern Ontario community’s traditional territory.

The agreement was signed at ATCO’s Calgary headquarters by Chief Bruce Achneepineskum and ATCO Structures President Adam Beattie, alongside council members and corporate representatives. Under the framework, the joint venture will focus on the design, engineering, construction, and operational management of workforce housing and modular facilities.

The partnership is structured to ensure direct community participation in major developments across the region—including upcoming civil and infrastructure projects linked to Northern Ontario’s Ring of Fire corridor. Beyond physical construction, the venture establishes mechanisms for local employment, technical skills training, capacity building, and long-term business growth for community members.
